Sugar free overnight oats

Stuck for sugar-free breakfast ideas and looking for a healthy, digestion-friendly alternative?

I am sharing this really quick and easy to make breakfast recipe that has been a favourite of mine for the past few months. It only takes a couple of minutes to make and can be made a couple of days in advance for those short of time.

Oats are an incredible breakfast choice, as it is a renowned source of slow release energy and will curb hunger for longer. Chia seeds are packed with nutrients, including B vitamins, zinc and omega 3s. High in fibre combination of oats and chia seeds is an excellent choice to soothe and calm the digestive system.

Overnight cinnamon chia oats recipe

Serves 2

1/4 cup oats

1/4 cup chia seeds

2 tsp cinnamon

2/3 cup alternative milk (rice, almond, hemp etc.)

1 tsp pumpkin seeds

1 tsp sunflower seeds

*1 tbsp cacao nibs

*3 tbsp protein powder

Mix all of the in a bowl or container (if planning to take away with you) making sure that chia seeds are not stuck together. Leave for a few hours or overnight to soak.

Add toppings of your choice before eating. My favourites are berries, pomegranate and banana.
