Whenever I make this divine dessert to my friends, I never tell them what it is made off…until they ask me for a recipe. Only to find out, that this chocolatey goodness contains one of your five a day!
Cocoa is packed with antioxidants and contains magnesium for supporting cognitive and heart function and keeping your skin youthful. This delicious yet nutritious dessert will hit the spot in the cooler months.
Time: 10 minutes
2 ripe avocados
1 ripe banana
2 tbsp. coconut oil
4 tbsp. raw cocoa powder
4 tbsp. local honey or maple syrup
3/4 tsp of vanilla
Melt the coconut oil.
Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add coconut oil and blend again.
Pour it into two glasses. Can also pour it into smaller cups, for smaller portions, just like in the photo.
Leave in fridge for 3h or overnight.
Serve decorated fresh raspberries or cocoa nibs (optional).
