Chocolate layer bliss

Updated: Apr 30, 2019

If you're looking for a chocolate dessert that doesn't leave you in a sugar spike- crash roller coaster for a day, you're in the right place!

The first thing that comes up when talking about chocolate for most of us is a ‘naughty treat’ (especially coming up to Easter), yet it really doesn’t have to be this way! Chocolate is high in antioxidants and the right combination of fats and carbs can in fact crave the further sugar cravings and increase our wellbeing, which this recipe is plentiful in.

Give it a go and observe your energy levels after, you might be very surprised (and hopefully WILL see the difference to having a supermarket- bought chocolate bar!).

Serves: 2

Time: 10 minutes

1 ½ cups of coconut yoghurt 2 small (or 1 large) avocado 1 cup of fresh frozen berries (e.g blueberries, raspberries, strawberries) 1 tbsp. cacao Natural granola with nuts and seeds

  1. Blend the avocados and cacao in a food processor until smooth.

  2. Use the mixture, the berries, the yoghurt and the granola to make nice layers in a glass.
